IAT Corporate Department has already rolled out training in Microsoft Server 2012.We already have trained a number of Organizations such as General Printers, Uganda Civil Aviation Authority and Coffee Research Foundation on Microsoft Certified Solution Expert (MCSE) based on Server 2012.

  •   Infrastructure

Our Corporate training rooms are equipped with the latest state of the Art facilities. In order to run courses using the Latest technologies we have invested in High end computers (64 bit & hyper V technology), a reliable Network and Internet accessibility. The use of classroom discussions, visual aids and private consultations with the course instructors, is geared towards developing a high degree of retention of the core concepts. We are also happy to conduct in-house training on special requests at client premises provided the client allocates a suitable training room with adequate training facilities.

Over the years, IAT has commanded confidence in training with various industry players ranging from Government Ministries and Agencies, Foreign Government Agencies, Parastatals, Financial Institutions, Multinationals, Donors Agencies and Non Governmental Organizations.

In the last one year IAT has also conducted the following training programs within the Region:

In September 2013 IAT trained ICT officers from Ministry of Marine Resources-Eritrea and Ngorongoro Crater Authority –Tanzania in Cisco Certified Network Associate Course (CCNA).In the same period IAT trained officers from Uganda Civil Aviation Authority in Microsoft Certified Solution Expert (MCSE 2012 Server).

In May 2013 IAT trained staff members from Uganda Communications Commission in Database Management course.

In July 2013 Iat was contracted by Norwegian People’s Aid to train their staff from Somali land in Advanced Excel.

In March 2011 IAT partnered with Norwegian People’s AID to deliver a specialized training solution to Southern Sudan Demining Authority on Database Management. This training was conducted in Sudan specifically in YEI.

FLEXIBILITY OF OUR TRAINING MODES

IAT’s corporate training department offers very flexible training modes to our customers. We conduct training not only in our state of the corporate training rooms but also we conduct in-house training in our customer’s premises.

Corporate Exclusive training:
Corporate Exclusive courses are usually more cost effective for training a group of employees all belonging to the same organization despite the venue where the training takes place.
The beauty of corporate Exclusive training is that course-ware can be tailored to focus on the areas of study that are most important to your organization. IAT’s Training consultants will work with you to create a training programme that addresses your company's objectives and can tailor courses so that your company standards and practices are communicated throughout the training sessions.

Offsite Training:

The Institute conducts training at the client's premises in two methods;

i) Using the client's machines - the Institute provides the trainer.

ii) Using the Institute's laptops/computers- the Institute provides the trainer and machines (at an extra cost)

The Institute is capable of making arrangements to train client organizations anywhere in Kenya and Africa.

Workshops-These are open workshops held at Training House facilities or Hotel conference facilities. The courses are set, standard courses where people from various companies attend to achieve a high level of corporate training in the courses we provide. The Workshops need to be booked in advance to assure space is available.

Scheduled training:
We have a full public schedule of accredited Best Practice training courses, these are trainings open to public and takes place in our premises.These courses are scheduled throughout the year and participants book themselves into pre-set times

Private Training(one on One Training):

This kind of training is done in the Institute's private training room with up to a maximum of 2 participants. The training is ideal for senior management or individuals with very tight work schedules who can adjust their timings to suit their availability. It can be done either at the Institute or at the client's premises.
